چکیده

In the context of topcolor-assisted techicolor(TC2) models, we investigate the feasibility of detecting the non-universal gauge boson Z ′ in the future high-energy linear e+e− collider(LC) experiments by performing χ analysis via studying its virtual effects on the processes e+e− → ff with f = τ , μ, b, and c. We find that the non-universal gauge boson Z ′ is most sensitive to the process e+e− → ττ . Discovery limits of the Z ′ mass MZ′ can be enhanced by the suitably polarized beams. If we assume that polarization of electron beam and positron beam are 80% and 60%, the LC experiment with √ s = 500GeV and £int = 340fb −1 can explore MZ′ up to 8TeV for the coupling parameter K1 ≤0.8 at 95% CL. Effective Field Theory of Anomalous Gauge-boson Couplings at High-energy Pp Colliders

We compute the effects of anomalous gauge-boson couplings at high-energy hadron colliders using next-to-leading order SU(2) × SU(2) chiral perturbation theory. By comparing the yields from the universal p 2 terms with those arising from new physics at order p 4 , we estimate the sensitivity of the SSC and LHC to the indirect effects of electroweak symmetry breaking.

There are lots of new physics models which predict an extra neutral gauge boson, referred as Z -boson. In a certain class of these new physics models, the Z -boson has flavor-dependent couplings with the fermions in the Standard Model (SM). Based on a simple model in which couplings of the SM fermions in the third generation with the Z -boson are different from those of the corresponding fermio...

Littlest Higgs model with T-parity predicts the existence of the neutral, weakly interacting, new gauge boson BH , which can be seen as an attractive dark matter candidate. We study the production of BH via eγ and ep collisions. We find that the new gauge boson BH can be abundantly produced via the subprocesses eγ → LBH and γq → BHQ, which give rise to characteristic signals. We further estimat...

The phenomenological model of an extra U(1) neutral gauge Z ′ boson coupled to heavy quarks is presented. In particular, we discuss the probability for a light Z 2 mass eigenstate decay into a bound state composed of heavy quarks via Higgs boson emission. 1. Theoretical interest in an extra neutral vector boson Z ′ is mainly motivated by experimental observation of possible deviations from the ...
